Senior Systems Administrator

Ft. Belvoir, VA C-CHR

TheSenior System Administratorwill provide primary and backup server system administration and information assurance support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Provide systems administration support for the Windows operating system and applications and backup support for VMWare virtual environments.

+ Install, configure, maintain, and provide troubleshooting support for all operating systems, applications, and hardware assigned.

+ Support planning and implementation for all new and existing systems solutions.

+ Maintain system compliance by ensuring all approved IAVAs, SPs, and patches are installed and configured, including maintaining Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) compliance and reporting.

+ Perform systems backups and recovery procedures.

+ Document all systems requirements associated with Disaster Recovery in the systems support documentation.

+ Create and update related server/application documentation, including Trusted Recovery Documentation (TRD), Method of Procedures (MOP), user guides, and other related training material.

+ Maintain Windows virtual templates for server deployments.

+ Follow all policies, procedures, applicable regulations, and Functional Area processes.

+ Maintain currency in technology and service offerings. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ BS in a related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience.

+ 4+ years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

+ Possess Baseline and Full Computing Environment Certifications for IAT-II IAW DoD M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002. MCSA Windows Server 2016 Certification required, VMware VCP 7 Certification or above required.

+ Secret clearance Tier 5 investigation required.
