Summary: Seeking an Electrical Software Engineer to develop, update, and maintain software for vehicle communication and control systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in software technology; automotive software experience preferred.
• Proficiency in embedded C, C++, VB, and other coding disciplines.
• Experience with ARM-based programming.
• Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, K-line, LIN, CAN, UART, SPI).
• Experience creating PC-based applications.

Responsibilities:

• Write code for module communication.
• Develop code to manage motor functions and various outputs.
• Update existing module code for enhancements.
• Interface with OEM vehicles using CAN-based messaging.
• Create software for graphical interfaces used by dealer technicians.
• Reverse engineer CAN/LIN messages from stock vehicles.
• Debugging, documenting, and maintaining all developed software.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
