    Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant II plays a key role in providing administrative support within the University of Alabama Army ROTC Department, ensuring smooth operations of the unit. Responsibilities include handling various administrative tasks, serving as an office liaison, receiving and directing communications, maintaining files, and supporting budget monitoring.

    Additional Department Summary: Join our team as a dedicated Administrative Assistant at the University of Alabama Army ROTC Department. In this position, you will contribute to maintaining an organized and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors. This role involves managing administrative duties, coordinating departmental correspondence, scheduling appointments, and assisting with event planning. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role, and military experience is not required.

    Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of administrative experience; OR associate's degree or higher.

    Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields and one (1) year of management experience; OR Associate's degree in a business-related field and three (3) years of experience. Skills in web design/management, SharePoint management, and budget spreadsheet management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
