    Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Virtual Cruise Reservationist (WFH) to join our team at GlobeTrek Consulting. As a Cruise Reservationist, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with booking their dream cruise vacations, providing expert guidance and personalized recommendations to ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from home, providing exceptional service to clients while enjoying the comfort of your own workspace.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Cruise Booking: Assist clients in selecting and booking cruise vacations based on their preferences, budget, and travel requirements, ensuring that all arrangements meet their expectations and needs.
    2. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing clients' inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner, both over the phone and via email.
    3. Cruise Planning: Collaborate with clients to create customized cruise itineraries that include destinations, excursions, dining options, and onboard activities tailored to their interests and preferences.
    4. Reservation Management: Manage cruise reservations, including cabin selection, dining preferences, special accommodations, and any additional services requested by clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all bookings.
    5. Payment Processing: Process payments for cruise bookings, including deposits, final payments, and any additional charges, ensuring that all transactions are completed accurately and securely.
    6. Documentation Assistance: Assist clients with obtaining necessary travel documents for their cruise vacations, such as passports, visas, and travel insurance, providing guidance on requirements and deadlines.
    7. Cruise Coordination: Coordinate with cruise lines, travel suppliers, and other partners to make necessary arrangements and accommodations for clients, including transfers, pre- and post-cruise stays, and special celebrations.
    8. Stay Informed: Stay updated on cruise industry trends, promotions, and offerings to provide clients with accurate and up-to-date information and recommendations.
    9. Problem Resolution: Handle any issues or concerns that may arise before, during, or after the cruise vacation, working closely with clients and cruise line representatives to find satisfactory solutions.
    10. Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining client records, to ensure efficient operation of the cruise reservation department.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the cruise industry or travel/hospitality industry.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients.
    • Proficiency in using reservation systems and booking platforms, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings, payments, and documentation.
    • Ability to work independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively with team members and clients.
    • Knowledge of cruise destinations, ships, itineraries, and onboard amenities is preferred.
    • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to accommodate client needs and cruise schedules.
