    Job Description:

    The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct patient care and assist in clinical functions to all providers under the direction of the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN or practice coordinator.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Obtain and accurately record patient's vital signs
    • Document components of patient's history
    • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
    • Participate in in-office procedures under supervision
    • Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing
    • Collect blood samples for lab testing
    • Return prescription calls within scope of practice
    • Prepare patient charts for clinical information
    • Maintain inventory of supplies and keep examination rooms stocked

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
    • Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to present information effectively
    • State Licensure as an LPN required
