    This position is the associate manager for the F-35 Flight Control Hardware IPT in Fort Worth
    The
    position will report to the Fort Worth Flight Control Hardware Manager within the Flight Sciences directorate
    What You Will Be Doing

    • The candidate will be responsible for staff recruitment, performance management, manpower planning, and personnel development and recognition
    • The candidate will make work assignments, coach and mentor team members, and support the development of F-35 and F-22 Flight Control Hardware competencies
    • Manager responsibilities will account for 25% of the candidate's time
    The remaining 75% will focus on execution of technical work within the F-35 Flight Control Hardware competencies

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 8+ years' experience with Flight Control systems Experience with Flight Control systems development, supplier management Demonstrated technical leadership experience in aerospace environment Engineering Degree from an accredited college Project Management experience Cost Account Manager (Earned Value Management skills).

    Desired Skills:

    • Flight Control Systems/Vehicle Management System experience
    • Experience with other aircraft systems
    • Experience with fighter aircraft
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level:
    Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees
    Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
