With over 250 physicians, 220 nurse practitioners and physician assistants and nearly 100 locations in our network. Utilizing innovative clinical research, cutting-edge technologies, and advanced treatments, we are committed to providing world-class cancer care.

    We are recognized by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) with a national Clinical Trials Participation Award,
    FCSoffers patients access to more clinical trials than any private oncology practice in Florida.

    Our patients have access to ground-breaking therapies, in a community setting, and may participate in national clinical research studies of drugs and treatment protocols.

    In the past five years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with
    FCSparticipation prior to approval.
    Through our partnership with Sarah Cannon, we are one of the largest clinical research organizations in the United States. Often,
    FCSleads the nation in initiating research studies and offering ground-breaking new therapies to patients.


    SUMMARY:

    The

    Nurse

    Manager (RN) will

    be responsible for

    managing and

    organizing,

    the work of

    remote nurse

    teams driving coordination of care across the


    FCS
    patient care continuum

    .

    Performs other duties and projects as assigned.


    PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Nurse Man

    a

    ger

    be

    responsible

    for

    :

    Directing

    ,

    organizing

    and

    supervising

    the

    work

    of

    their

    assigned group supervisors and downline staff.
    Collaborat

    ing

    with other
    FCSdepartments in patient care matters

    .
    Assisting

    upline

    managers

    in

    the

    development,

    administration,

    and

    supervision

    of

    the

    Care Coordination Department.
    Provid

    ing

    metrics and patient outcome reports to

    direct manager

    upon request

    .
    Evaluat

    ing

    and oversee

    ing

    ongoing opportunities for department

    's

    quality improvement
    Provid

    ing

    feedback

    ,

    coaching

    and

    mentoring to downline leadership team

    on a r

    egular

    ongoing basis.
    Collaborat

    ing

    with HRBP and downline leadership in

    the evaluation

    and delivery

    of staff

    corrective action.
    Assist

    ing

    upline

    management in

    development

    of departmental education / professional development.
    Interview

    ing

    and hir

    ing

    staff

    .
    Approving

    time

    and

    vacation

    as

    well

    as

    yearly

    reviews.
    Assist

    ing

    upline management

    in the

    oversight

    of

    department

    work

    flows

    and

    Standard

    Operating

    Procedures

    (SOPs) including a yearly review and revision as

    indicated

    .
    Additional

    tasks as needed to support team
    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

    LICENSES:

    Bachelor of Nursing preferred

    OCN
    required


    EXPERIENCE:

    Seven

    (

    7

    ) years or more of experience

    as an RN
    O

    ncology

    experience

    required

    (3) years of management experience preferred.
