    MVCA is a private Christian school serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Our privateChristian school is seeking a passionate and experienced educator to assume the role of Head ofSchool.

    As a faith-based institution focused on fostering academic excellence, characterdevelopment, and spiritual growth, we are committed to providing a holistic education thatprepares our students to thrive in a diverse and ever-changing world.

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as the Head of School.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Christian education and a passion forhelping students reach their full potential.

    The Head of School will be responsible for the overallleadership and management of the school, including developing and implementing the school'svision, reaching strategic goals, overseeing the budget, and managing staff.

    MVCA is a smaller school located in Polson Montana and surrounded by the beautiful MissionMountains and at the southern end of Flathead Lake.

    Our enrollment runs between students each year and everyone here is like family. The salary is dependent on experience butranges between $55k to $65k. Benefits include medical and dental benefits, professionaldevelopment and certification costs, and lower tuition rates for students of employees.


    Responsibilities:

    Visionary Leadership:
    Provide visionary and strategic leadership, ensuring alignment with theschool's mission, values, and philosophy. Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive school culturethat supports the spiritual, academic, and personal growth of staff and students.


    Academic Excellence:

    Oversee the development and implementation of an exceptionalacademic curriculum, rooted in Christian principles, that fosters critical thinking, creativity, andservant leadership character development.

    Maintain and improve the school's overall rating andaccreditation.


    Spiritual Development:
    Promote an environment that nurtures each staff members & student'sspiritual growth and relationship with God, through programs, activities, and integration of faiththroughout the curriculum

    Staff Development and Management:

    Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team ofeducators and administrative staff committed to the school's Christian principles and educationalobjectives.

    Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for staff.


    Operations and Financial Management:
    Provide strategic direction and operational oversightof all school activities, ensuring alignment with the Christian values and educational standards.
    Manage administrative functions, including budgeting, resource allocation, admissions, and staffrecruitment and retention. Oversee the financial health of the school, including budgetdevelopment, fundraising, and resource allocation. Implement strategies to ensure fiscalsustainability and growth. Attending board and committee meetings to share updates on theschool and bring back recommendations from the committees. Work with the school board todevelop and implement policies and procedures.


    Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
    Build and maintain strong relationships withstudents, parents, alumni, the local community, and relevant stakeholders. Act as the primaryspokesperson and ambassador for the school, promoting its mission and accomplishments.


    Strategic Planning and Implementation:
    Assist the Board to develop and execute strategicplans to advance the school's mission and objectives. Continuously evaluate and improveeducational programs, policies, and practices.


    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in education or a related field. 5+ years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in a private Christian schoolsetting.
    • Strong understanding and commitment to Christian education principles, practices and values. Live, lead, and serve according to 1 Timothy 3:1
    • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing academic programs.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Proven ability in strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership.
    • Must agree with MVCAs Statement of Faith below.

    Man was created in the image and likeness of God; he fell through disobedience, incurringthereby both physical and spiritual death.

    All men are born with a sinful nature and are separatedfrom the life of God and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord JesusChrist.

    Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and those who repent and believein Him, accepting Him as their personal Lord and Savior, are born again of Holy Spirit, receivethe gift of eternal life and become children of God.

    Christ is the Head of the Body.

    The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worshipof God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship and the proclamation ofthe Gospel and observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lords Supper.
