Emergency Department Technician - Pickens, United States - AnMed Health

Description

Provides quality patient care consistent with the standards and guidelines established by AnMed Health Emergency Department.

While working in the Emergency Department the Technician works under the guidance and supervision of the Emergency Department nurse(s) and charge nurse(s) providing and treatment as ordered by the physician(s) / provider(s) helping to promote quality and safe care of the patients within the department.

Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or GED equivalency required.

Completion of an approved nursing assistant training course, previous experience as hospital based nursing assistant, phlebotomist, paramedic, surgical technician, patient care tech, or other approved training/education required.

Current certification in BLS or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
