- SCOPE OF POSITION: The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and supportive services under registered nurse supervision including bedside care, nursing procedures, stocking supplies, and basic housekeeping tasks. Responsibilities also involve transportation of patients, documentation of care, and performing daily living activities for residents.
- REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Detailed in the Table of Organization.
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years of experience in a medical/hospital environment. Active CNA licensure in the applicable state and AHA BLS certification are required. Candidates in their senior year of high school may also be considered.
