    We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused, and collaborative leader to drive an established team of Account Managers for Hub North America. This role will provide a focal point for developing strategic customer initiatives with a portfolio focused upon our most strategically important customers on behalf of the Siemens Energy product lines and regions. Overall portfolio value of ~$500 million.

    How You'll Make an Impact

    • Drives and supports profitable account growth and share of customer spend.
    • Assigns, leads, coaches, motivates, supports, and develops Industrials Account Managers
    • Advises and supports Account Managers in developing and driving their Account Business Plans and communication plans.
    • Advises and supports Account Managers in negotiation and formal business approvals for framework agreement contracts, amendment, and adoptions as well as other Commercial agreements (e.g., NDA's, Confidentiality Agreements)
    • Advises and supports Account Managers with use of Customer feedback mechanisms and accurate handling of customer compliments/complaints.
    • Drives exchange of Key Account Management experiences, best-practices, and lessons-learned
    • Selects and proposes potential key customers in alignment with Business Areas (BA) and Individually Managers Businesses (IMB) and supports the Account Management nomination process.
    • Coordinates information exchange and use of related standardized tools and infrastructure, in particular SalesForce
    • Develops, maintains, and ensures implementation of Key Account Management and Market Development concepts, processes, and guidelines.
    • Determines the specific Account Management targets and monitors implementation of agreed key customer related measures and programs.
    • Monitors target achievements, collects feedback from key partners, and drives the Account Management process.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering field
    • Ten plus years of energy industry sales experience.
    • Strong ability to influence and leading a sales team.
    • Strong Commercial Negotiation Skills
    • Proven experience of working collaboratively with and leading diverse teams across organizational boundaries
    • Established skills as sales professional with both negotiation and customer resolution skills.
    • Proven experience problem solving sophisticated issues spanning commercial and technical topics with multiple and diverse stakeholder requirements.
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with diverse groups of stakeholders.
    • Ability to encourage customer focus and lead effective customer improvement programs.
    • Flexibility to travel.
    • Initiative-taking, high energy, driven, good communicator, able to work at the highest levels of the Siemens Energy and customer(s) organizations.
    • Must be located or willing to relocate to the Houston, TX area.
    • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

    About the Team

    This position manages approximately ten personnel mostly assigned to large Oil & Gas accounts in North America, which many are global accounts. There are also Industrial accounts that are part of the portfolio. The role sits within Hub North America and supports all Siemens Energy products. We are the Go-to-Market Sales Channel for these Business Areas and Individually Managed Businesses.
