    The Role

    Moderna is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Director of Commercial Supply Chain for North America to be based in Princeton, New Jersey.

    The ideal candidate will be a visionary and innovative leader responsible for the end-to-end supply chain management of our product portfolio across the United States and Canada.

    This role encompasses oversight of product launches, lifecycle management, and the development of customer-centric and innovative last-mile distribution strategies.

    The successful candidate will ensure that Moderna's life-changing therapies are delivered to patients and providers efficiently, effectively, and with the highest level of service.

    Here's What You'll Do

    Oversee the commercial supply chain operations for Moderna's products within North America, ensuring alignment with global supply chain strategies and business objectives.


    Lead the successful launch of new products in the region, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain readiness and excellence.


    Manage the lifecycle of Moderna's product portfolio, including planning, forecasting, and inventory management to meet market demands and patient needs.

    Drive innovation in last-mile distribution strategies, enhancing customer experience and improving access to Moderna's therapies.


    Foster a customer-centric approach within the supply chain, ensuring that patient and provider needs are at the forefront of decision-making and operations.

    Collaborate with commercial, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to integrate supply chain activities with broader business plans and regulatory requirements.

    Develop and implement robust supply chain risk management practices to minimize disruptions and maintain continuity of supply.


    Lead a high-performing team, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and development opportunities to build a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.


    Champion sustainability and social responsibility in supply chain practices, aligning with Moderna's commitment to making a positive impact on health and the environment.


    Serve as a key member of the North American leadership team, contributing to the strategic direction of the business and representing supply chain interests.

    Ensure compliance with regional and country specific regulations as well as good manufacturing and distribution practices.

    Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

    A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or Master's degree is strongly preferred.


    At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity.

    Extensive experience in product launch and lifecycle management within the North American pharmaceutical market.

    Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative supply chain and distribution strategies.

    Strategic vision and leadership in commercial supply chain management, with a focus on delivering patient-centric solutions.

    A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain, including regulatory and market dynamics in the United States and Canada.

    Experience in leading supply chain innovation, particularly in last-mile distribution and customer experience.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions that enhance supply chain performance.

    Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

    A commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in all aspects of supply chain management.
