About the Clinic:
The South Bend Clinic was founded in 1916 by surgeon Walter Baker after he visited the Mayo Clinic, now one of the most renowned medical institutions in the world. Dr. Baker returned to South Bend with the inspiration to create a similar practice and formed the South Bend Clinic with the help of several physicians. Founded on the idea that healthcare should be patient-centered and physician-led, our clinic strives to provide advanced yet personalized healthcare.
In 2021, the Clinic joined Duly Health and Care based in Chicago, Illinois—the Midwest's largest independent, multi-specialty physician-led medical group.
