    OBJECTIVE:

    The Logistics Coordinator will oversee logistics, optimizing inbound and outbound freight to ensure on-time deliveries for Delta Galil shipments. They'll analyze processes, use data and reporting to improve visibility and communication and collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain adaptability for this dynamic, high-volume role.

    RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Track inbound Air and Ocean freight to ensure on-time delivery to destination.
    • Maintain database and update inbound shipments as applicable.
    • Effectively communicate with our core customers on confirming orders and provide updates when required.
    • Collaborate and communicate closely with all cross functional internal and external business partners to ensure the smooth movement of freight from Origin to Destination
    • Liaise with vendors, brokers, freight forwarders and external partners to ensure timely delivery of all shipments.
    • Assisting internal stakeholders and resolving shipment issues and complaints.
    • Compiling and managing shipment documentation, records, and digital databases.
    • Update internal systems as necessary
    • Maintain ASN (Advanced Shipment Notification) for Import files for CBP Compliance:
    • Making sure all CBP compliant documents are in the ASN file: Invoice/Packing List/ HBL or MBL or is applicable HAWB, 7501 Entry Summary, POD (Proof of Delivery)
    • Review all bills from Customs Brokers/ Truckers/ forwarders/ steamship lines
    • Identify documents sent by shipper for ASN/ ETA and Warehouse
    • Reply via email to requests sent by Production/Planning/Sales/Warehouse for shipment status
    • Maintain the manual reports requested by Sales by account: (Skims and Walmart)
    • When needed help with import booking process

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must have at least 2 years of Import Logistics experience.
    • Good Microsoft, Excel, Power Point and keyboard skills
    • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
    • Must have ability to work individually and as part of a team
    • The ability to concentrate for long periods of time
    • Must be strong at paying attention to details

    OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

    • Background in Supply Chain and Logistics
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills between cross functional teams
    • Ability to multitask, be organized and be detail oriented.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook).
    • Experience with SAP/M3/MoveX/GTNexus or other enterprise systems desired.
    • Ability to solve business problems with forward thinking solutions.
    • Ability to partner and serve the business in an efficient and proactive manner.
    • Ability to enhance and implement world-class best practices with a mindset toward continuous improvement.
