    This role combines Unit Clerk and Care Partner responsibilities.

    • Lifting patients safely using Safe Patient Handling equipment over 35 pounds
    • Assisting with patient care, including AM/PM Hygiene care
    • Toileting, shaving, washing hair dental oral mouth car caring removing giving assisting supervising feeding exercising mobilizing patient patient safety situation noticing RN LPN calling recognizing signs abuse reporting CPR certification practice maintaining hospital department nursing policies procedures following communicating strongly organized telephones computer systems sending receiving messages accurately timely fashion promptly politely representing hospital courteous manner sensitive verbal non-verbal communications ICU IMC responsible obtaining quality blood samples phlebotomy methods standard safety equipment age groups regulatory requirements collection procedures labeling handling transporting patients water pitchers nourishment distributing blood products participating in rounding keeping tidy environment delivering equipment laundry disposing belongings assuring storage emergency situations notifying changes seen condition complying policies attending council performance improvement activities service care demonstrating strong communication organizational skills answering phone identifying self title department receiving sending messages accurately timely fasion responding requests being considerate empathetic providing excellent compassionate respectful friendly assistance treating others respect dignity discretion confidence ability collaborate solve complex problems demonstrating willingness accept routine work assignments appropriate participate community activities support philosophy hospital department cleaning sanitizing setting clean safe environment utilizing available resources advocating justice equality equity equity inclusion diversity creating inclusive welcoming workplace considering diverse perspectives backgrounds cultures beliefs values.
