Senior QA Automation Engineer


Location:
Columbia, MD (REMOTE)

Contract to Hire Position


Description:
At least 10 years of industry experience, preferably in an Agile development environment
Candidate with Banking or Financial Industry experience.
Knowledge with automated testing tools such as Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress and Java
Hands-on experience with databases testing, various data formats, and related testing technologies
Knowledge working with CI/CD processes and tools - preferably Jenkins
Expertise in API testing tools and test automation tools such as JAVA, JMeter, Cucumber, Postman, REST-Assured, etc
Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and VB Script.
Experience in building automation frameworks and/or contributing to the frameworks.

Excellent SQL knowledge with the ability to write complex queries for validation as well as review stored procedures for verification.

Experience with code versioning tools (Git, SVN)
Experience with using open source libraries to bring in efficiencies.
