The Deposit Operations Department handles a variety of operational functions for the Bank. This job description outlines major functions within the department but is not all-inclusive of an individual employee's specific responsibilities.Responsibilities
- Process debit card disputes, debit card fraud notifications and lost/stolen alerts.
- Support daily ACH process which includes approval/setup ACH Files preparing reports for ACH Committee assist with preparing Annual ACH Reviews Manage Overdrafts including monitor daily overdrafts timely closing large dollar return notifications reaching out account officer sending notifications customers closing stale overdrawn accounts reporting ChexSystems Process incoming return items including redepositing charging back item notifying account officer mailing notices placing holds necessary Mobile Deposits Review deposited checks proper endorsement potential fraud items Process exceptions items Non-post Stop Pays Follow-up Retail Team issues Recons Responsible balancing clearing differences bank GLs internal DDAs Positive Pay Monitor decisions made on all items process returns necessary Review incoming checks potentially fraudulent activity missing signature two signatures required check stock differences endorsement
