    We're seeking a talented and experienced HR Manager/People Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture, attracting top talent, and ensuring a positive employee experience at every stage.

    Responsibilities:

    • Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices.
    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
    • Lead the recruitment and selection process, ensuring quality and diversity of talent acquisition.
    • Partner with other departments to support their HR needs. This includes collaborating with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
    • Manage the performance management process, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback.
    • Conduct exit interviews with exiting employees during the separation process.
    • Manage employee relations, including addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and conducting disciplinary actions.
    • Review turnover rates by department and as a company to provide strategies to improve retention
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
    • Develop and deliver training programs for employees.
    • Develop and administer employee benefits programs.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
    • Travel between PJi facilities in Greenville, NC and New Bern, NC

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR role.
    • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in HR software and technology
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
