    RequirementsDirects Purchases Activity:
    Ensures compliance with company objectives and policies

    Establishes Goals and Objectives:
    Aligns departmental goals with the Companys objectives

    Leads Process Reviews:
    Recommends changes to enhance internal productivity and process quality

    Facilitates Supplier Selection:
    Negotiates contracts for strategic initiatives

    Analyzes and Recommends Policies:
    Ensures compliance with legal requirements and Corporate goals.
    QualificationsAt least 10 years of successful procurement / supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
    Must have international purchasing experience and would have supplied material for multiple plants.
    Electrical and/or plastics experience would be a plus.
    Must have knowledge of sound procurement practices of raw material, distribution, and manufacturing processes.
    Must be familiar with principles of transportation and have knowledge of forecasting.
    Able to analyze data and financial information.
    Ability to manage people, build teams, and communicate effectively.
