    Are you ready to take your accounting expertise to new heights? Our client, a dynamic and publicly-traded manufacturer nestled in the vibrant Philadelphia suburbs, is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.

    As a key player reporting directly to the Director of Technical Accounting, you'll spearhead crucial cross-functional projects within the Corporate Financial Reporting department.

    Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, driving revenue recognition, navigating lease accounting intricacies, and providing invaluable support for due diligence and business combinations.


    Your Impact Matters:

    GAAP Compliance Mastery:
    Lead the charge in ensuring seamless adherence to GAAP principles, with a focus on revenue recognition and lease accounting.

    Lease Accounting Leadership:


    Take the reins in managing the lease accounting compliance software, offering technical guidance, robust access controls, and insightful reporting for users across the company.


    Strategic Support for Growth:


    Play a pivotal role in acquisition due diligence and the accounting intricacies of business combinations, meticulously documenting and upholding control processes.


    Financial Reporting Excellence:


    Champion the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting closes, providing invaluable assistance in our intercompany reconciliation process and the preparation of various Corporate Holding Companies.


    SEC Filings Prowess:


    Contribute to the meticulous preparation of quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step.


    Special Projects Extraordinaire:
    Dive into special accounting assignments with enthusiasm and precision, embracing new challenges with confidence.

    Policy Pioneering:
    Assist in the creation, management, and maintenance of the company's accounting policies, driving best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.


    Qualifications to Excel:

    Educational Backbone:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting lays the groundwork for success.

    CPA Certification (Preferred):

    While not mandatory, a CPA certification or progress towards licensure would be a significant asset.

    Seasoned Experience:
    Bring at least 3 years of related accounting experience to the table, demonstrating your expertise in the field.

    Communication Savvy:
    Navigate effortlessly through all levels of management, engaging with senior executives with finesse.

    Technical Proficiency:
    Command a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, ERP systems, and Microsoft Word/Excel. Experience with Oracle, SAP, and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) systems would be a noteworthy advantage.
