    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Neuro Telemetry (Progressive Care) position requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

    Responsibilities

    • Neurosciences unit in a hospital setting
    • Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
    • Telemetry monitoring required for a neurological patient population
    • 13-week contract
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
    • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

    Requirements

    • Active NC or compact RN license required
    • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical RN experience in a telemetry or neuro specialty
    • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
    • US SSN and DOB required for consideration
    • One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)
