- Develop and implement project-specific quality control measures.
- Inspect and evaluate work areas according to plans, specifications, and contract documents, reporting deficiencies and elevating issues as necessary.
- Develop, gather, maintain, and submit work plans, submittals, reports, etc.
- Ensure subcontractors are aware of project quality control requirements.
- Plan and conduct a three-phase inspection program, including preparatory meetings, initial phase inspections, follow-up inspections, and final phase inspections.
- Lead and document quality control meetings with the project team and/or customers, providing written minutes.
- Provide daily quality control reports to reinforce activities conforming to project standards and address non-conformance.
- Verify and document materials/equipment conformance, handle and store materials appropriately, and address damaged or defective materials.
- Schedule, coordinate, and document all required code and independent inspections, correcting non-conformances as needed.
- Review as-built drawings for accuracy and deviations from contract drawings.
- Review Job Site Safety Plans, conduct hazard analyses, verify safety measures, and conduct safety inspections.
- Stop work, reject materials/equipment, and direct removal and replacement of non-conforming work or hazardous conditions.
- Communicate and interact professionally with all project stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in programs of similar size and scope.
- Current OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and USACE Construction Quality Control Management certifications preferred, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Procore.
- Familiarity with USACE RMS CM and EM
