Serving the upper Midwest with 17 locations, we have the largest supply of floor covering products in the region, and our knowledgeable staff continues to offer all the latest advancements in the industry. Our experienced team works directly with our customers to provide solutions on any construction project, big or small, from start to finish.
**Job Summary**
Hanks Specialties is looking to a hire a Warehouse employee who will also deliver orders as needed based in Rochester, MN. This individual will typically spend 70% of the time on warehouse duties and 30% of the time driving. Generally, the hours of this position will be 7:30am 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
This position will need to successfully pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, DOT FMCSA Clearinghouse drug and alcohol query, and pre-employment drug screen prior to employment.
**Responsibilities**
**Warehouse (70%)**
o Fulfill customer orders from warehouse
o Receive and assist with unloading truck transfers
o Prepare deliveries
o Ensure inventory levels are accurate
o Maintain proper rotation of dated product
o Safely operate forklift and pallet jack
o Keep warehouse organized and clean
o Other duties as assigned
**Driving (30%)**
o Deliver orders with company truck from Rochester, MN to primarily customers located in southern Minnesota.
o Safely operate 34,000-pound commercial truck
o Provide excellent and professional service to customers.
o Assist with loading and unloading freight.
**Requirements**
2 or more years of commercial driving experience
Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Requirements**
Ability to operate a forklift.
**Physical Requirements**
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Safely enter and exit vehicle.
Sit for extended periods of time.
Walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel.
