    *Description:

    *Title: Machine Operator Senior**Location: Morris Plains, NJ**Max Pay Rate: $30-$35**Duration: 12+ months**JOB DESCRIPTION**The Process Operator, Senior is responsible for multi machine operation including Mark Andy and Gallus printing presses, slitting equipment, blister machine and label applicator.

    *\*Evening Shift: Hours are M-F 4pm-4am currently, and Saturday 4pm-2am.

    *There is also the possibility for Sunday hours

    *The Process Operator, Senior is responsible for multi machine operation including Mark Andy and Gallus printing presses, slitting equipment, blister machine and label applicator.

    *Must be flexible with working hours. Currently need to work 12 hour days to include hours on weekends. This is subject to be reduced at any given point.

    *Responsibilities:
    Work independently to operate and monitor machines used in the production of Temptime product

    Perform setup, testing and assembly of products using equipment as specified

    Effectively plans and utilizes time and resources to meet business needs and achieve business objectives

    Inspects product for defects, identifies and properly marks any non-conforming material in accordance with work instructions

    Ensure product assembly meets production requirements (both quality and quantity)

    Proper identification and physical movement of raw, in-process and finished goods materials to and from storage locations

    Perform material transactions in ERP of raw, in process and finished goods materials used in production processes.

    Work with outside vendors for purchase of operating supplies.

    Maintain inventory of operating supplies including screens, plates and other pre-press supplies.

    Conduct inventory cycle counting activities as directed

    Daily setup, operation and cleanup of equipment operated.

    Maintains and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures

    Maintains work area organization and documentation to satisfy ISO and GMP standards

    Maintains good communication and working relationships with all departments and effectively functions within a team environment

    Exhibits professional etiquette that exemplifies the values of the organization

    Support Research and Development activities, including participation in product/process development trials, carrying out new types of raw material and product characterization/performance testing and use of experimental materials

    Attendance at the worksite is required on a regular and on-going basis

    Supports training for new hires

    *Qualifications:

    *Minimum Requirements:
    High School Diploma or GED

    2+ years of experience of relevant experience

    *Preferred Requirements:
    Knowledge of light equipment operation in the performance of job responsibilities (such as: Forklift, Pallet Jack).

    *Key Skills and Competencies:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance work instructions, procedure manuals and MSDS sheets.

    Must have sufficient English reading, writing and speaking skills to review work instructions and communicate effectively throughout the organization.


    Must be able to perform basic arithmetic using units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and convert measurement units to/from Imperial to Metric.

    Ability to maintain quality and safety control standards.

    Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.

    Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.

    Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.

    Must be familiar with and be able to communicate via e-mail. Must be familiar with and be able to use computer software including word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft products preferred).

    Pay:
    $ $34.00 per hour


    Expected hours:
    No less than 40 per week
