    The Welder 2 is responsible for performing setup on intermediate welding components that range from similar to dissimilar metals and alloys requiring a medium degree of skill and welding technique or involving a considerable number of parts and/or smaller more complicated weldments where alignment, dimensions and weld quality must conform to strict quality standards.

    Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccuracy with alignment, dimensions, materials, number of components, correct corresponding machine order and general inspection requirements. Setup weldments per blueprint specifications. Mfg weld to blueprint specifications. Tig, Arc, Stud weld and utilization of a torch. Properly setup welding machines to obtain proper welding penetration. Clean welds to check for imperfections. Ensure proper finish squareness. Interpret work orders, blueprints, and bills of material. Other duties and responsibilities as required.
