This Project Manager role offers a unique blend: the responsibilities of overseeing projects complemented with the intricate tasks of estimation.
This dual nature is crafted for individuals who are passionate about the entire lifecycle of a construction project, from its inception (estimation) to its culmination (project management).
Role Description:
The chosen candidate will be an instrumental part of our project management team, offering expertise in both project oversight and the essential stages of estimation and buyout.
Key Responsibilities:
Management:
Manage projects in the $1-5 million range while actively engaging in the estimation and buyout processes.
Estimation:
Evaluate project feasibility, costs, and potential returns. Review subcontractor bids ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Collaboration:
Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, designers, and owners for unified project objectives.
Compliance:
Assure adherence to safety guidelines, building codes, and quality standards. Address any arising issues promptly.
Technology Use:
Employ tools like ComputerEase and Smartsheet for effective project management.
RFIs and Submittals:
Manage the process ensuring timely executions and responses.
Reports:
Update and present project statuses to stakeholders, offering insights and solutions.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a project management role with emphasis on estimation.
Expertise in healthcare and commercial construction projects.
Proficiency in tools:
ComputerEase, Smartsheet, and cloud-based drives.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Bilingualism is a strong advantage.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
$65,000 - $75,000, based on experience.
7 standard holidays + one floating holiday annually.
One week of paid vacation.
