As a young, growing company, STACYC is "first to market", creating a few category within the motorsport and bicycle industries.
The STACYC Lead Technical Accountant will help develop and complete critical steps in the Company's accounting and reporting processes, focused on the STACYC electric balance bike segment.
In fulfilling these responsibilities, this individual will be required to work effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization and to collaborate with individuals across functional and geographic areas.
Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting and Accounting, this role will be key to supporting the accounting, reporting and internal control processes for the newly formed public company.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead various accounting processes related to the STACYC electric balance bike segment.
Support the Company's external financial reporting process related to STACYC.
Support a continuous improvement by reviewing current processes and helping to suggest areas of improvement to facilitate a more efficient accounting and reporting process.
Monitor and remain informed on new and proposed accounting and regulatory developments and evaluate their potential effect on the Company and its financial statements, including but not limited to items issued by the FASB, SEC and PCAOB.
Work with the finance organization to ensure the Company's compliance with generally accepted accounting principles by consulting on issues and through technical accounting and reporting training.
Conduct research and analysis of complex accounting issues and provide recommendations to management.Perform analysis and special projects as required.
Support SOX compliance and assist in the coordination of the annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors.
Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff on technical accounting matters.
Required Education:
BBA, Accounting
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum 4 years "Big Four" public accounting experience and/or large public company experience
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Experience with publicly traded companies
Requires good written and verbal communication skills
Organized and detail oriented
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications required
Pay Range:
$80,000 - $105,000
The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role.
Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
