Job Summary:
Special Pathogens Program: recruiting and maintaining a volunteer roster of healthcare workers on the team, overseeing the development and implementation of Special pathogen education and training on a regular (quarterly) basis, the planning and conduct of training and full-scale exercises, policy/protocol development for both administrative and clinical aspects of our program, overseeing compliance with grant metrics requirements, and coordination with multiple groups to facilitate planning and coordination of training and management of patients with special pathogens.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) Preferred
Licenses:
RN, BSN
Experience:
3 Years (minimum) Experience in an acute care setting (critical care, pediatrics, emergency department, med surg); Preferred experience with program development and implementation of navigator programs.
