Job description
Our client (a well-established company) is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support their indirect procurement processes. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who can manage the end-to-end purchasing process, ensure compliance with contracts and accounting practices, and help optimize procurement workflows. This is a temp-to-hire position with a hybrid schedule (2 days in-office, 3 days remote).
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full procurement process from requisition to purchase order to vendor invoice, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Process requisitions and support the transaction flow through to the general ledger
- Receive and process vendor invoices in NetSuite; assist with invoice automation and AI-assisted reading features
- Administer the company P-Card program, including approvals, audits, and compliance follow-ups
- Understand service contracts, including payment terms and intercompany impacts, supporting accounting accrual exercises
- Assist in process improvement and optimization of procurement workflows, leveraging NetSuite and advanced Excel skills
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth purchasing operations for contract labor, media services, and other indirect procurement
Qualifications:
- Experience in the purchasing field, indirect sourcing experience required
- Strong understanding of purchasing processes, service contracts, and vendor management
- Experience with P-Card administration is required
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite Procurement, but not required
- Strong Excel skills for reporting, reconciliations, and process tracking
- Ability to interpret contracts, understand payment terms, and ensure accurate GL postings
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing complex transactions and approvals
