- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the power plant
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime to minimize production interruptions
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and inspection of solid-fuel power plant equipment, including boilers, turbines, pumps, and related systems
- Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, reducing downtime and minimizing costs
- Manage the CMMS work order system
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials necessary for maintenance activities
- Reorder and restock supplies as needed to avoid shortages and delays in maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and maintenance logs
- Generate reports on maintenance performance and equipment reliability
- Assist in the development of the maintenance budget and manage expenses within budgetary constraints
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - Technical education or certification or Military experience is a plus
- Power plant supervisory experience
- Solid-fuel power plant experience is required
