    We are seeking an experienced Solid-Fuel Power Plant Maintenance Manager to manage the maintenance and repair activities at a solid-fuel power plant in Northern California As Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment, managing a team of maintenance technicians, and coordinating maintenance schedules. You will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and functionality of the power plant.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintenance Management

    • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
    • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

    Maintenance Planning

    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the power plant
    • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime to minimize production interruptions

    Repairs & Maintenance

    • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and inspection of solid-fuel power plant equipment, including boilers, turbines, pumps, and related systems
    • Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, reducing downtime and minimizing costs
    • Manage the CMMS work order system

    Inventory Management

    • Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials necessary for maintenance activities
    • Reorder and restock supplies as needed to avoid shortages and delays in maintenance

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and maintenance logs
    • Generate reports on maintenance performance and equipment reliability

    Budget Management

    • Assist in the development of the maintenance budget and manage expenses within budgetary constraints

    REQUIREMENTS

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Technical education or certification or Military experience is a plus
    • Power plant supervisory experience
    • Solid-fuel power plant experience is required
    • CMMS experience
