Pay, Benefits, and Perks of Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN):

Competitive Pay Based on Experience
Shift Differential Pay (at participating locations)
Take home up to 75% of your net earned wages at the end of every shift

Essential Functions of Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN):

Provide personal care to residents ensuring safety and comfort within Company Clinical Policies and Procedures as well as state/federal guidelines
Treat and care for patients with various wounds, such as pressure ulcers, ostomies, or skin breakdowns
Conduct wound assessments, cleaning, bandaging, and collaborate with the care team on treatment plans
Assess resident conditions upon admission and document changes accurately
Manage residents' pain effectively and educate on pain management
Interpret test results and take necessary actions
Promote independence for residents and maintain a hazard-free environment
Assume a leadership role and set an example for the team
Follow Company Clinical policies for Abuse Prevention
Collaborate with physicians and implement care plans based on assessments
Respond promptly and decisively in emergencies
Perform assigned tasks and duties diligently

Qualifications of Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN):

WOCN certification in good standing
Current LPN or RN Missouri issued license is required
1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care center preferred
Preferably have infection control experience
Maintain active email and phone contact for work-related communication
Effective communication skills across all levels
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Hold a valid CPR Certification
