TITLE
Technician – Interventional Radiology
SCHEDULE
5x8hr Days, on call/callback/holiday per unit needs.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks

REQUIREMENTS
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Two (2) years experience
- NYS License (or able to obtain prior to start)
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates competence in selecting exposure factors, positioning, and consistently produces radiologic images of diagnostic quality.
- Instructs and prepares patients for examinations and assists the Radiologist during procedures.
- Completes all assigned procedures in a timely manner and uses time between procedures to assist others and to facilitate room turnover.
- Operates all equipment competently and reports malfunctions to the manager or lead.
- Maintains medication security to authorized personnel only.
- Engages in hospital performance improvement activities when warranted.
