- Wash, peel, cut, and store fruits, vegetables, and ingredients correctly
- Prepare batters, doughs, fillings, and other necessary prep items
- Portion and keep ingredients stocked for daily production
- Consistently follow recipes and preparation procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic prep area
- Label, date, and rotate food products appropriately
- Assist cooks/chefs with additional prep tasks when required
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
- Prior experience as a Prep Cook, Kitchen Porter, or in a similar role
- Proficient knife skills and understanding of food preparation methods
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 lbs
- Keen sense of taste and smell to assess food quality
- Valid Food Handler's certificate
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
