    Your Mission:

    The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for developing, directing, and implementing a thoughtful, proactive approach to bring out the best in people, implementing the management philosophy on hiring and developing people, and strengthening our ability to help the organization grow based on our most important asset, people.

    You Are:

    A creative, collaborative, results-oriented leader who is particularly adept at balancing multiple priorities and issues and being decisive. You are dedicated to developing a strong, diverse, and collaborative organization, have a strong work ethic, a passion for managing the details within our fast paced, growing business. You are a seasoned specialist in the manufacturing sector.

    You Will:
    • Provide overall direction to the human resources function to lead change, shape the HR vision and provide coaching and mentoring to grow the HR and recruiting team.
    • Partner with operations team to provide creative and resourceful problem-solving techniques and approaches to employee issues and challenges.
    • Mentor and advise floor managers in corrective actions, training & development plans, employee relations, terminations, etc.
    • Develop and implement human resource policies, practices, procedures, and initiatives that are aligned with the business strategy, objectives and value of the organization while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, OSHA, Title VII, and proper workplace investigation procedures.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement policies, procedures, and programs to attract and retain employees.
    • Proven leader in employee retention and turnover reduction.
    • Drive initiatives related to employee development, training, and engagement.
    • Monitor, improve, and report on key HR metrics to senior leadership.
    You Have:
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
    • 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience in fast paced manufacturing or similar environment.
    • "Hands-on", action oriented, creative, and resourceful, firm but fair, and, most importantly, consistent. Does what's best for the company, not what's easy or popular.
    • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Excellent verbal as well as written communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to and work with people at all levels and from all walks of life, either one-on-one, in groups or in teams.
