    Our South Florida franchisee's (SFF-MBFS) M&A deal team is industry agnostic and has 80+ years of cumulative experience in successfully advising in $5B+ in lower-middle market M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions.

    This is a full-time, hybrid role for an Investment Banking Analyst at Murphy M&A Advisors.

    SFF-MBFS Analysts are expected to assume significant levels of responsibility requiring intellectual curiosity, motivation and analytical aptitude.

    The Opportunity

    We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our South Florida Franchisee. The successful candidate will be driven and detailed-oriented while having a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly. SFF-MBFS places a special emphasis on excellence in work products and presentation.     Responsibilities

    • Supports senior team members in marketing/origination activities including (but not limited to): preparing historical and projected financial statements, provide analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions and conducting valuation analysis
    • Involved in execution activities including (but not limited) to data gathering, analysis and material preparation, as well as taking responsibility for managing standard processes such as preparing deal documentation
    • Develop marketing and support materials including (but not limited) executive summaries, confidential information memorandums (CIM), and management presentations
    • Facilitate data requests from clients
    • Ability to initiate and develop core relationships with CPAs, corporate attorneys, business owners, and other deal-flow sources
    • Support financial, commercial, operational and legal due diligence
    • Interact with clients' senior executives and institutional financial sponsors

    Applicants wishing to apply should meet the following criteria:

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Solid interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Experience with financial modeling, valuation, and analysis
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and work on multiple tasks
    • Possess good attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • M&A, capital raising, investment banking, accounting or other relevant experience preferred
    • Minimum of 1 or 2 years Investment Banking work experience required
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques and transaction execution
    • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Bachelors degree or higher in business, accounting, finance, and or economics
    • CFA or working towards CFA designation is a plus

    The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
