Job description
N-Vision Optics is a small company located in Needham, MA specializing in night vision and thermal imaging devices for military, law enforcement and consumer applications. The Assembler will be responsible for the assembly, test, and repair of night vision and thermal imaging devices. Additional responsibilities may include incoming and outgoing quality inspection, as well as packaging, shipping, and receiving duties.
REQUIREMENTS
- Perform manual assembly of electronic and mechanical components.
- Follow manufacturing and assembly procedures.
- Run production tests on equipment as necessary.
- Follow good manufacturing practices per company operating procedures.
- Clean, maintain and operate production equipment per SOP's.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the assembly of components or devices
- Must be able to read basic prints and drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of electronic cabling and hand soldering techniques.
- Self-directed and able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study.
Physical Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 30-50 pounds without assistance is required.
Because of the nature of our business, interested candidates must be Permanent Residents or United States citizens.
The pay rate is commensurate with education, experience, and skills.
