Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to cultivate a motivated and skilled team.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and control costs through effective stock management and ordering procedures.
- Supervise cash handling procedures, POS system operations (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and financial transactions with accuracy.
- Implement and maintain high standards of customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular staff performance evaluations, coaching, and training sessions to promote continuous improvement.
- Coordinate shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours and special events like banquets or catering services.
- Enforce food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and health regulations across all departments.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to optimize food production efficiency and menu offerings.
- Drive initiatives to increase sales, improve operational efficiency, and enhance overall guest experience.
Skills
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and reporting.
- Expertise in inventory control, food handling, budgeting, and cost management strategies.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to train staff in food safety practices, food production standards, and hospitality management principles.
- Experience supervising shifts in high-volume restaurants or hotel dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for interviewing candidates, staff training, and team development initiatives.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software tools for scheduling, reporting, and operational tracking.
