Job summary
Irrigation Technicians are primarily responsible for the installation maintenance and repairs of the irrigation systems. They execute timely servicing and quality of work at all customer locations where irrigation work is done layout and install new or renovated irrigation systems troubleshoots irrigation systems to determine reparation needs pulls and fits piping for irrigation systems sets sprinkler heads and valve boxes tests irrigation systems for proper functioning clears replaces and prepares soil for turf or bed areas performs rough and fine grading digs trenches as well as planting trees shrubs laying ground cover installing turf applying bark cleaning up job site after completion of projects gathers updates historical data for each account regarding water sources point of connection mainline location services performed parts installed activates deactivates according seasonal priorities pre-established schedules partners with customers suggesting watering schedules tactics reduce water usage costs proposes solutions during periods droughts restrictions visits properties evaluate revenue opportunities design enhancement/irrigation proposals based findings increases market share achieving sales goals proposal goals communicates with customers ensure satisfaction service solves problems foster positive long-term relationship ensures jobs are managed within budget meet exceed financial performance metrics adjusts schedules maximize capacity efficiency work flow analyzes resolves problems assists solving assist reviews monitors equipment upkeep vehicles used service clients designated area manages upkeep irradiation in designated area partners directs crew members where needed on projects/jobsJob description
