- Design and verify products to customer requirements in accordance with relevant design standards and Cytiva procedures from initial inquiry to project completion.
- Generate engineering Bills of Materials, customer-facing documents, and other design outputs within agreed project timelines.
- Create, review, and approve engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Provide technical support for other functions (Commercial, Production, Quality, Regulatory).
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement actions and projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems engineering, or STEM related major.
- Minimum 4 years of experience involving mechanical, electrical and software engineering disciplines.
- Ability to review, interpret and implement equipment specifications.
- Knowledge of typical process equipment components such as pumps, valves, heaters, transmitters, and electro-mechanical control elements.
- Customer-focused mentality, highly organized, comfortable with frequent change and with capability to complete multiple tasks / projects on time.
- Pharmaceutical/biotech processes, equipment hardware and single use technology
- Compliance with quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, cGMP.
