    **Description**

    **OVERVIEW**

    Responsible for all inbound team functions including returns, returns put away, rework, special projects, receiving, quality control and MRSs. Their function is to ensure each area works as a team with other areas in the facility to ensure work is completed on time within budgeted guidelines. Ensures every aspect of inbound function daily achieves the cost per unit target and the net promoter service/quality elements that optimize the effectiveness of the inbound operation. Brings continuous improvement to the functions of inbound at a rapid pace.

    **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

    Develop and implement daily production plan for Inbound team including setting goals and communicating expectations to direct reports.

    Carry out manager responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures.

    Strategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance, resolve problems; and address staffing needs.

    Identify and coordinate daily activities; inspire your team to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.

    Collaborate across departments to drive optimal organization productivity; foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.

    Ensure performance plans are set, accurate, maintained, and continuously improved.

    Drive your personal growth and development by leveraging tools, resources, and relationships with other leaders.

    Ensures both consistency of and compliance with company and departmental policies/procedures and performance standards.

    Accountability for meeting and exceeding operational goals, and key performance indicators.

    Provide input to annual budgeting process.

    Develop and manage inbound process that is a proactive step in improving our customer service.

    Implement ideas/innovations in an organized, logical and ethical manner.

    Communicate effectively/professionally with all levels of management.

    Continue to perpetuate building a teamwork atmosphere with all areas of fulfillment.

    Manage department expenses to budgeted goals.

    Manage staffing to meet forecasted and un-forecasted needs.

    Submit weekly forecasts to senior manager for evaluation and labor assignments.

    Partner with other departments in creating a better customer experience.

    Oversee training and re-training programs.

    Ensure all work is completed on time and within budgeted guidelines.

    Gather, analyze, and report departmental statistical data.

    Evaluate improvements to departmental processes and created process flows and documentation.

    Recommend capital expenditures.

    Other duties as assigned by senior management.

    **QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**

    Bachelors degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Three to five years fulfillment operations management experience preferred.

    In order to ensure service levels, it is essential that the individual in this role be able to work a regular and reliable schedule as provided by management.

    Given the significant responsibilities of this role, it is essential that this role be filled on a full-time basis only.

    It is essential that the duties of this role be performed on-site at ShopHQ facility.
