Job summary
We are looking for a reliable Process Engineer to learn understand and actively support the overall uptime of equipment through interactions with operations and maintenance to achieve world class status in tire manufacturing Interact with facility maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective operation of equipment Create and establish concise standard operating procedures for equipment and operators Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to reduce waste and increase profitabilityResponsibilities
- Work with a Safety Always mindset through supporting and promoting continuous improvement of safety and health in the workplace Perform all duties with a Quality First mindset through improvement of work processes and procedures to eliminate prevent defects Develop maintain a big picture focus understanding of the complete tire manufacturing process within the first 3-months employment Establish good rapport build working relationships networks with peers technicians other employees develop strong network support base Develop maintain effective working relationships suppliers third parties Remain current professional practices maintain high awareness new products procedures industry Monitor trade publications actively participate professional organizations Communicate information timely clearly Create manage update standards work instructions assigned processes Support designation serial numbers components placement orders record-keeping purchases SAP ensure required inventory levels Learn develop necessary skills know-how complete Consultation Forms accurately timely Assist other engineers proposal development contract documentation activities required Establish flexible personal work schedule TP is 24/7 operation ensure necessary completed meet deadlines ownership area responsibility Perform routine duties requiring application knowledge basic engineering principles Prepare simple routine plans calculations cost estimates following standard engineering practices procedures Interpret engineering specifications solve routine problems applying defined procedures proven precedent Systematically identify causes problems possible solutions Plan – Do – Check Act methodology Drive cooperation operators maintenance staff support equipment up-time objectives Support improvement Planned Maintenance activities schedules reduce costs Support definition application efficient SSupport activities related improving equipment uptime using Fault Analysis tools Participate Value Stream Mapping activities identify NVA redundancy waste Perform other duties assigned management
