- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: hours a week. Evenings and potentially overnights (Will need to be able to do at least One weekend a month)
- Be responsible for all aspects of non-chemotherapy order verification, order entry, mixing, and checking
- Provide pharmacy services to all perioperative areas
- Process discharge prescriptions in EnterpriseRx
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- PharmD (or equivalent)
- NYS Pharmacist license
- Good understanding of inpatient operations and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
- A fast learner. With new non-chemotherapy and chemotherapy agents being approved every few months and new protocols opening frequently you must be able to efficiently and accurately evaluate new information
- Computer savvy
- Customer service oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Prior hospital pharmacy/perioperative experience
- Prior retail pharmacy experience
- Omnicell experience
