Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Insurance Defense Trial Attorney, you will:

• Meet directly with clients to assess claims and develop litigation strategies

• Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers regarding claims, exposure, and settlement offers

• Prepare cases from inception through trial, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice

• Serve as trial counsel in jury trials and bench trials

• Conduct courtroom appearances, evidentiary hearings, and settlement conferences

• Provide strategic analysis to ensure efficient and favorable case resolution

• Collaborate with internal teams while maintaining independent case ownership

This Insurance Defense - General and Personal Injury Defense role requires strong courtroom presence and litigation leadership.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• 6+ years of litigation experience

• 5+ jury trials as first chair strongly preferred

• Membership in the Illinois Bar (Illinois Bar required) and in good standing

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently
