Halff is looking for a Traffic / ITS Engineer for our Tallahassee office to join our growing Traffic and ITS Engineering practice. The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience conducting traffic impact and level of service analyses. Traffic / ITS Engineer Responsibilities:

Works under a Team Leader in the development of traffic impact & level of service analyses
Manages traffic / ITS projects or tasks in support of business needs
Assists in managing the workload of design staff including other Engineers, EIT's, and technical staff
Assists in development and management of project scopes, budgets, and schedules
Reviews traffic / ITS designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency
Reports on project progress
Collaborates with clients and other consultants
Assists with business development activities

Traffic / ITS Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, preferably in Florida, or able and willing to obtain within 1 year of starting date
At least 3 years of experience conducting traffic impact & level of service analyses
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be self-directed yet a team player, and have focus on quality, integrity and success
Proficiency with MicroStation and Microsoft Office Software
GIS capability is a plus
