    JOB FUNCTION /


    SUMMARY:


    The Marketing Manager is the individual contributor responsible for developing, launching and leading marketing programs to achieve stated business objectives for the "Client Segment".

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES &


    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Based on strategic guidance from direct manager, craft well-structured strategic marketing plans and creative briefs using qualitative and quantitative data and producing measurable results.

    Helps define and update marketing plans for specific marketing channels under the direction of the direct manager.

    Navigate a highly matrixed organization, influence partners, build consensus, and work across various functional departments to plan & execute through creative development, targeting and production.

    Develops in depth understanding of features and benefits of financial products offered to the segment.
    Contributes input and ideas to help achieve segment marketing goals and program ROI.

    Work with analytics to understand campaign performance, test results and profitability; utilize data and analytics to drive marketing decisions based on customer interactions and behaviors.

    Identify new capabilities to improve campaign performance and support launch of new initiatives and programs; assess performance and issues proactively and recommend enhancements.

    Act as a thought leader, presenting and discussing ideas with intent to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding across all levels of the organization.

    Present campaign reporting including financials, performance and test results.
    Ensure that marketing programs adhere to brand standards and contribute to building brand equity.
    Coordinates with appropriate internal and external centers of excellence to execute campaigns and programs including:
    Current external agencies include creative, media buying, digital design, direct marketing, and boutique providers.

    Current and planned internal resources include client analytics, market research, corporate communications, and community engagement, digital channel, branded content creation, merchandising, and marketing automation.

    Uses internal and external resources to understand the impact of marketing programs on the entire buying funnel down to incremental sales, revenue, and ROI.

    Based on results and discussion with Marketing Leadership contributes ideas and recommendations for future planning.
    Follow established department policies, procedures, and workflow practices.
    Serve as a first line of defense in implementing appropriate risk controls.


    SUPERVISORY

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE &


    KNOWLEDGE:


    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent); other degrees considered if the candidate has strongly demonstrated marketing or sales results.

    5+ years of experience in relevant accountable marketing disciplines such as customer marketing, segment marketing, database marketing, direct marketing, digital marketing, etc.

    Regulated industry experience (in-depth Understanding/Knowledge of Mortgage Marketing and MLO support within a Retail Banking Environment) experience strongly preferred, but not required.

    Experience working for or with a publicly-traded company.
    Quantified results from marketing programs and campaigns created and managed.
    Excellent writing and communication skills including proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
    Demonstrated interest in building a knowledgebase and active curiosity about what drives customer and business value.
    Personal or professional experience in emerging marketing disciplines such as digital marketing, customer-relationship management, inbound marketing, social media, etc. are encouraged but not required of candidates.

    Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
    Ability to operate a keyboard if required to perform the essential job functions.
    Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
    Ability to travel if required performing the essential job functions.
    Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 25 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
