- Provide recommendations and assistance to customers in order to arrange the financing of their purchases.
- Present customers with additional product offerings to enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
- Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position.
- Accurately desks, submits to lenders, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes all deals.
- Ensure every deal is aligned with local, state and federal guidelines.
- Prepares paperwork, contracts and delivers deals.
- Audit team deals Post-Sale and analyze for improvements.
- Oversee and direct the business office operational activities related to providing finance, insurance, and extended service programs.
- Coordinates with Basecamp Support accounting team
- Able to work cross-functionally with all departments, with an emphasis on the Sales Department and Service Manager.
- 3-5 years of experience within the finance department of a motor vehicle dealership
- Experience with the menu selling approach
- Face to face communication skills, focused on a high standard of customer service
- Organized with time management skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to improve
- Understanding of title laws and registration process a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
