    Performing a range of cleaning tasks like mopping, sweeping, discharging of patients rooms

    Distributing linens and tracking the linens used in each department

    Will work in all departments, including, ER, OR, NICU/PICU, Trauma, and Psych Ward.

    Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or common areas, break rooms, bathrooms.

    Refilling toilet paper and other paper products as needed

    Working in an environment with bodily fluids, BLOOD, infectious diseases, COVID cleaning, and terminal cleaning.

    1. EVS job duties in detail.

    oThis is a Trauma 1 designated hospital, meaning that ALL major trauma patients will be sent to this hospital, ex. Car accidents, gunshot wounds, etc.

    oCleaning Hospital Rooms: will be seeing and cleaning blood and other bodily fluids daily, changing bed linens, mopping sweeping floors, bathrooms, taking out the trash.

    oThey will receive all necessary training and PPE gear.

    o Will be assigned to the ER, OR, NICU/PICU, Trauma, or Psych Ward, any of these departments.

    2 week training will be on 1st shift 8am-5pm and will then move to their assigned shift of 2nd or 3rd.
