    Typical shift times:
    AM 7:00-17:00 or PM 17:00-03:00; some 8-hour day/evening/night shifts and occasional 12-hour shifts may be scheduled.)


    Floating:
    May float to Long Term Care or ICU as needed


    Work Setting:
    On-site – Emergency Department (acute care, emergent care)


    Estimated Weekly Salary Range:
    $2,500–$2,630/week

    Job Requirements / Qualifications

    Active and unencumbered RN license (or eligible for Hawaii licensure/Compact RN where applicable)

    Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Department (ED /
    ER RN experience required)

    Ability to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays) and adapt to variable schedules

    BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred (certifications in emergency and critical care a plus)

    Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills in acute care settings

    Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care abilities

    Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in the ED

    Perform rapid assessments, triage, and timely interventions for acute and emergent conditions

    Administer medications, manage wounds, and support procedures as indicated in emergency care protocols

    Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

    Float to Long Term Care or ICU departments when required to support staffing needs

    Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and clinical outcomes in the electronic health record

    Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

    Adapt quickly to changing patient volume and acuity in a fast-paced
    ER environment
