    OverviewThis position is within Corporate Treasurys Balance Sheet Management team and is responsible for supporting the establishment and enhancement of an effective governance framework for interest rate risk (IRR) management: policies and procedures, material risk identification and assessment, reviewing inventory of metrics/limits and sensitivity testing, new product assessment, and practices generally consistent with supervisory expectations for a Large Financial Institution.

    This individual possesses demonstrated initiative, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong analytical mindset in support of efforts to identify enhancement opportunities in existing or proposed processes and support strategic decision making.

    Open to remote work for the following locations Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, or Morristown, NJ.


    ResponsibilitiesIRR Framework:

    Support the enhancement of a sustainable IRR management program that meets regulatory expectations, while supporting the Banks overall balance sheet management strategies.

    Work cross-functionally to manage stakeholders (e.g. 2 nd line of defense) and follow through on the execution of projects with a high attention to detail.
    Business Support
    • Assist in the development of a governance and control framework ensuring completeness and accuracy in analysis and reporting including clear and concise documentation of process assumptions, limitations, and weaknesses.

    Data Analysis
    • Source, compile, and interpret data.
    Perform data analysis, effectively communicating and directing analysis output. Recognize opportunities for automation and/or increased efficiency and help drive implementation.
    Reporting
    • Convey patterns, problems, areas of improvement with a mindset for continuous improvement of reporting processes.
    Prepare materials for meetings with management committees, regulators, etc.
    Peer Leadership
    • Assist management with the onboarding and training of new staff.
    Mentor less experienced staff, including review of daily output and coaching.

    In North Carolina, the base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $87,341 to $151,391 per year.

    This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay.
