    Pediatric Allergy & Immunology Physician (M60258)

    The Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at Virginia
    Commonwealth University (CHOR at VCU) is recruiting for a non-tenure eligible physician to participate
    in clinical, teaching and research activities. The Division currently has 3 clinical faculty, an advanced
    practice provider, a nurse coordinator and a nurse navigator. Providers see patients at the downtown
    Children's Pavilion and travel to outlying community clinics. Candidates with special area of clinical
    interest/niche are encouraged. Successful applicants will be board certified in Pediatrics and board
    certified or board eligible in Allergy/Immunology and will be expected to provide quality and timely
    clinical care on the inpatient and outpatient units.

    Teaching is an integral mission of our division, as we have an active ACGME-approved fellowship
    program in collaboration with the Department of Internal Medicine as well as strong involvement with
    medical students and residents in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Research experience or
    interest is preferred, but not required – active basic science and clinical research programs exist in both
    Pediatric and Adult divisions. Sufficient time will be allotted to the faculty member for academic
    activities.

    part of a multispecialty hospital with 160 beds. Our Children's Pavilion for outpatient services opened in
    March 2016. A new 500,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art inpatient facility is currently under
    construction and slated to be completed in 2023.

    Richmond is a comfortable metropolitan area of 1.2 million and is home to an active and vibrant sports,
    theater, music, arts and restaurant-brewery scene. We are centrally located, close to the Blue Ridge
    Mountains to the west, the Virginia and Carolina beaches to the east, and just 90 miles south of
